5 Easy Ways to Make Your Bedroom Feel New

Your bedroom is often an escape from outside stressors, so it is important that you feel comfortable and collected in your surroundings. If your room could use a little updating, it’s not necessary to spend a lot of time and money to renew your space. The following five tips can be used to refresh your bedroom without breaking your back, or the bank.

1. Wash your sheets. Getting cozy in some freshly cleaned sheets is the simplest way to feel like you’re in a new room. If you want to go the extra mile, try spraying some linen spray into your sheets.

2. Make your bed. Even if the rest of your room is a little messier than you’d like, a freshly made bed can make your space feel more orderly and put together.

3. Minimize clutter on all surfaces. Nightstands and dresser tops tend to collect endless amounts of junk, and clearing all of them off can quickly give your space a refreshed feel.

4. Add some flowers or plants. Greenery can quite literally bring new life to a stale space, and fresh flowers can add a pop of new color and a fresh new scent.

5. Switch up your existing décor. Rearranging the artwork and furniture in your bedroom will instantly make the space look and feel brand new without spending any money.

These five tips will not only refresh your space, but will also improve the way you feel when relaxing in your own bedroom!

Thank you for these practical tips. These are the same things i love when I go to a hotel….fresh clean sheets and no clutter.

That’s a great way to think of it Julie! Hotels keep the sheets clean and the items to a minimum so the room feels as spacious as possible. Now if we can just apply that theory to our own spaces at home!
