Enjoy a lovely Father’s Day afternoon Saturday, June 14th or Sunday, June 15th from 1pm to 5pm taking in the beautiful sights of the MFAH Bayou Bend collection. Houston philanthropist and original owner of the home, Ima Hogg, donated the historic 14-acre River Oaks estate to MFAH in 1957 so all Houstonians could enjoy the rare American collection and the beautiful gardens that are meticulously landscaped just as Ms. Hogg would have overseen.

There are several tours of the property available, from an hour and a half study tour, to self-guided house and garden tours, and audio tours. Admission for all fathers and grandfathers is free, and they will also receive a free gift from the Bayou Bend gift shop! All accompanying adults will have a discounted admission fee of $10 and children nine and under get in for free.

The house will be open for tours, and free music along with refreshments will be at the Kilroy Visitor Center, so make sure to stop by.
