The quaint Gite Gallery, located in a two-story brick home, has been recognized as Houston’s exclusive and authentic African art hub. They have a wide range of sculptures, artwork, masks, relics, and artifacts. It is one of the largest sub-Saharan African collections in the United States!
The gallery also performs custom framing, design consultation, and art procurement if you’re looking for something special. Plus, every first Friday of the month the gallery has a happy hour from 5pm to 8pm, which is a perfect time to get a tour of the location.They will provide champagne and snacks, making it an excellent way to learn more about the African arts community as your leisure.
