Fern Candle Holders

Adding nature into design has been especially popular as of late, and we love it! We were inspired by The Charm of Home, which illustrated that there’s something so simple and romantic about incorporating natural themes into your space. What’s more, is that accessorizing with nature can be inexpensive as it is all around us!

Supplies:

  • Adhesive spray (optional and best for artificial leaves, etc.)
  • Glass candle holders, whatever size you choose
  • Your favorite leaves outside or from your local hobby store. These can be any kind of leave or flower petals of your choice. I used longer fern leaves for my taller candleholders.
  • A little nest to fit inside your candleholder (mine was from Hobby Lobby) or any twigs, berries, moss. or brush (smaller items) that would fill your candleholder and fit snuggly around your candle.
  • Candles, real or the no flame plastic ones

If you have artificial leaves, go ahead and spray your adhesive onto backs of your artificial accessories and place them into the holder. I put my larger leaves in first, and then added my smaller twigs, etc. after I made sure my candle fits snuggly in. If you have a little moss or some twigs you’d like the candle to rest on, then you should add those in first before the candle. Make sure everything is where you want it, just like a floral arrangement, and if necessary let the adhesive dry before lighting!

These nature filled candles look amazing on the dining table or outside on the patio. We’d love to know how yours turned out, let us know in the comments below!
