This Christmas season, instead of buying pre-made hot cocoa mix, why not try this recipe from Honey and Fitz with the family. It’s easy to make and is full of chocolaty flavor, perfect for sipping while watching movies and waiting for Santa!
Ingredients:
– 6 C. Milk
– 1 Can of sweetened condensed milk 14oz.
– 1.5 C. heavy cream
– 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
– 2 C. of bittersweet or semi sweet chocolate chips
– Pack of marshmallows any size
Grab your large pot and set it over the stovetop on low heat. Combine milk, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and all the other ingredients are mixed well, about 30 to 40 minutes. Pour the hot cocoa and add as many marshmallows as desired. Now, pop in Polar Express, Elf or Home Alone and enjoy it with a hot cup of cocoa with your children.
