Easy Pizza Bites

This easy bite size pizza recipe is an adorable pint sized snack, and you don’t even have to make pizza dough! This is a perfect snack size especially if you have young children. Your kids will certainly be asking for more of these!

Ingredients:

– 1 Jar of your families favorite pasta sauce

– 1 Large french bread or 2 medium ones

– 4 c. Mozzarella cheese

–  Whatever toppings the family is into! Pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, pineapple, olives, etc.

– Parmesan cheese is optional but highly recommended

Tip: Precut all your toppings and have them ready to place on the pizza, and have the mozzarella cheese ready as well. It will be quicker, especially if your children are helping out.

Directions:

Preheat your oven at 400 degrees. Grab your cutting board and slice the loaves of french bread vertically and horizontally.

Spread your pizza sauce on the inside halves of the French bread. If you’re using homemade sauce, I make it a day to an hour before hand.

Now add the cheese and all the toppings, then place your french bread loafs on cookie sheets and pop them in the oven until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy. Let them sit for 5-10 minutes to cool a bit. Then, sprinkle the parmesan on top.

Grab the knife and cut the loaves into bite size pieces and place them on your platter or plate. I’ll save some of the sauce in a small bowl for dipping those yummy bites in.

Now you and your family can enjoy semi-homemade French bread pizza bites. Make it more fun and let the little ones join in on pizza preparation!
